Weight loss challenge day 7!
What music do I listen to when working out?
I am a girl of many genres and therefore have various workout soundtracks. Generally though, when working out, I like upbeat techno and alternative rock. Anything with a good running beat too!
My favorite song to listen to at the moment, though, is Starships by Nicki Minaj. It makes me excited to work on cosplay as well as getting in shape!
Update! 146.5 pounds. WOOOOT
And I wore a belly shirt! It works now! Well not like in public, just in the safety of my own home… Also! I need a new bra. Yay!
Q:I saw your post on a "binder" and wanted to let you know ace bandages/similar things restrict breathing and can cause broken ribs, or having you pass out. Be very careful with it and remember to never sleep in it.
okay. I only wear it on special occasions and I won’t forget to sleep in it. Thank you for the advice and that you took time to care about my well being. :)

Favorite exercises? Well, most things that don’t involve running. my favorite exercises are probably walking in a scenic area, dancing, hula hooping and swimming. :)
Day 5
Top five motivations for my goal?
5. Just to look and feel better about myself. This is number five because I’m honestly not doing this because I think I’m ugly. I mean, sure, it’s nice to be considered pretty or whatever, but honestly, beauty is how much time your willing to work on yourself every morning.
4. So I can tell people about eating healthy and they’ll listen to me. People don’t believe me when I talk about nutrition and exercise because I’m probably not the body type they’re trying to achieve. I eat healthy for the most part, but I don’t have some crazy metabolism like most of my friends.
3. So I can be an official short, petite hipster on my nineteenth birthday. My friend, Cella has this theory that when girls turn 19, they become short, petite hipsters. I don’t know where she came up with this theory, but I’ll make it come true!
2. So I can run. I have really dumb lungs. I want to one day be able to run an entire mile without stopping to catch my breathe or control my asthma attacks. I know it doesn’t seem like much, but it means the world to me.
1. CROSSPLAY. That’s kind of the name of the blog, after all. I want to be able to dress as a boy and even, dare I say it, wear belly-shirts, feeling comfortable and confident! Cosplay is one of my biggest hobbies and Damnit! I wanna look good when I do it!

I actually can’t think of any off the top of my head. I guess the most inspiring quote I’ve ever heard was from my day. I went to a check up when I was in fifth grade, and the doctor told me I was overweight in front of my family. (Including my immature older brother.)
I went home and I cried and cried. I was embarrassed and I don’t know why I was just so upset at the thought of being overweight.
Then, my dad came into the room, asked what’s wrong, then listened to me. His reply was:
“You’re beautiful now but, if you want to change, just remember, you’re as beautiful as you are now. Beauty only matters so much. Being healthy is all I care about.”
And I live by it. :)
